Poona Hoteliers Association (PHA) is a powerful voice of the Hospitality Industry in the Pune district, since its establishment in 2001.
The Association is privileged to be the sole representing body of hoteliers in Pune Region and proud to have almost all Pune prominent and leading hotels as its members.
The Association is a very active association, representing issues of various stakeholders with the Local Municipal Corporations, Gram Panchayats, Police Department, Excise Department, FSSAI, Mantralaya and other Government related offices.
The activities also include monthly Owner & General Members Meetings with social invitee guest speakers, followed by interaction in the meeting with fellowship.
The Association also conducts seminars and trainings on a wide variety of topics pertaining to the Hospitality Industry. PHA further believes that the growth of this industry also especially depends on availability of trained manpower and is extremely proud to announce that on many occasions the knowledge bank from within the Pune Hotels has been tapped to conduct many seminars by the Department Heads and even General Managers from our hotel members.
PHA has such seminars and meetings regularly with leading personalities from the Government and dignitaries from the corporate world and shall continue to invite top Government Officials and knowledgeable persons from within the Industry to have interaction, these will go a long way in strengthening the Association and in a way solve certain common problems which are faced by the Member.
Annually, the Association organises various social events such as Blood Donation Drive, Christmas Ball, PHAPL – a Cricket League and an Annual General Meeting which is Annual Nite which is a fun filled entertaining event attended by members to mingle and strengthen bonds and ties between themselves.
PHA believes that the Industry is strengthen with all types of stake holders. Hence, leadings hotel management colleges and vendors are part of this association.
The Association admits & assists members operating IN Pune District.
The Association renders assistance during promotion & operation of any hotel and/or members, information on various aspects such as applicability of laws, tax matters, labour, liaison with the government department etc. The Association issues from time to time circulars clarifying matters concerning the hotel & restaurant industry. It holds periodical meetings on subjects of topical interest to the industry.
